Marantz Professional Portable Tape Recorder Tune Up Specials

Let our Marantz factory-trained top guns bring new life in to your trusted old Marantz Professional portable recorder. We know these machines like no one else! Take advantage today of our factory tune-up specials on any PMD101, PMD201, PMD221, PMD222, or PMD430 model portable tape recorder.

(Note: the now-discontinued PMD420 model is eligible only for Tune Up C, Plantinum Special.)  

We offer four levels:

• Silver, Gold, and Platinum tune ups provide a 90-day parts and labor warranty from date of service.
• Plantinum Plus provides a 1-year parts-and-labor warranty from date of service.
• All tune up specials include return shipping via Federal Express 3-day service.

We are experts at repairing Superscope and Marantz Professional audio products. We are the premiere factory-authorized out-of-warranty service center for Marantz Professional. Of course, we service Superscope products both in and out of warranty.

Silver ($99)

• replace pinch roller and all belts
• clean, adjust and demagnetize the tape head
• test and align your unit back to factory specifications

Gold ($139)

• replace pinch roller and all belts
• clean, adjust and demagnetize the tape head 
• test and align your unit back to factory specifications
• and replace and align the cassette motor

Platinum ($169)

• replace pinch roller and all belts
• clean, adjust and demagnetize the tape head 
• test and align your unit back to factory specifications
• replace and align the cassette motor
• replace cassette door latch and align
• replace transmission clutch and "forward idler" gear.

Platinum PLUS ($199)

NOTE: Platinum Plus is only available for the PMD201, PMD221, and PMD222.

• replace pinch roller and all belts
• clean, adjust and demagnetize the tape head
• test and align your unit back to factory specifications
• replace and align the cassette motor
• replace cassette door latch and align
• replace transmission clutch and "forward idler" gear
• replace 3.5 mm Mic and Tel jack;

1. Print the PDF form and complete the information requested.
2. Check the appropriate box of the tune up offer you want.
3. Check the appropriate box for method of payment desired. Where credit card is selected, please include the Visa or MasterCard number, the work to be charged, and the expiration date of the card. Where check or money order is selected, please include your check or money order with the unit when it is returned. Make all checks payable to: Superscope Technologies, Inc.
