Because the PSD300 and PSD340 have both a CD player drive and a CD recording drive, it's possible to blend background music from a CD with the signal from the 2-channel (stereo) mic/line inputs and then record this mix to a CD-R or CD-RW disc. It's also a convenient way to duplicate a CD recording at 2X speed.  Make an excellent sounding master CD that can be duplicated in a CD duplicator for ministries on CD.
